Abstract
To improve its digital culture, an educational institution must have a Digital Strategy Plan. The objective of this research is to present a model for the incorporation of digital technology (DT) in the classroom to improve the educational quality of a basic education center and high school, based on the development of digital teaching competence (CDD). This model, based on 5 phases, during which CDD evaluation instruments and infrastructure analysis are used, allows teachers to strengthen the use of DT in the classroom through training actions; favors the establishment of improvement actions in CDD, based on the results obtained, the reflection of coordination bodies and the involvement of managers; and makes possible the advance in the digital maturity of the organization. The flexibility of the model allows it to be easily adapted to the needs of any center that intends to improve digitally.
