Author Guidelines

Submission of a paper is taken to imply that it has not previously been published, and is not currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.

 Manuscripts for Triangle should be submitted electronically in two different formats: 1) a Word or LaTeX (plain) file and 2) a PDF file. 

Paper submissions should be made as anonymised files e-mail attachments to the following address

In a separate title page and in the e-mail message, the author must include:

  1. The name(s) of the author(s) and full contact details: department, institutuion, postal address, telephone, email.
  2. A brief biodata of 75/100 words including academic position, mair research lines and a selection of the most important publications. 
  3. The full title of the paper.
  4. An abstract of up to 200 words summarizing the content of the paper. 

As this journal has adopted a blind reviewing policy, authors must remove all identifying features from the paper by ensuring that no author’s name appears in the main text, in-text citations, reference list, or any filename. Replace all reference to the author with “Author 2015” or “Author et al. 2004”, etc. The title of the article and the name of the journal, book, etc. should also be removed from these references. 

In the case of monographic and special issues, before submitting the manuscript, authors/editors should send a proposal of the issue including the following data:

  • Name, institution, contact details and biodata of the author(s) (monographic issue) or the guest editor(s) (special issue).
  • Title of the proposal.
  • State-of-the-art in the topic area where the proposal is placed.
  • Some arguments for why this particular area/topic should be given a special issue in Triangle.
  • In the case of special issues, a list of potential contributors (with a short biodata) and the title of the potential contributions.

All articles published in our journals are open access and freely available online, immediately upon publication. There are no submission charges and no processing charges for Publicacions URV Journals.
