Collaborative groups in High School: teachers learning and students teaching

Abstract
This article describes an experience developed by researchers from the Department of Didactics and School Organization (University of Murcia) and the IES La Flota from Murcia. The project was funded by the Region of Murcia Local Governement in the context of the "Program III for the Development of Educational Innovation Projects". The main goal of this project was to change the organizational culture of the educational high school by means of better collaboration between teachers and students, having the innovative figure of “collaborative student” in order to promote more participation in school tasks and finally to improve the environment in the high school. The project was developed during one academic year and the results obtained by questionnaires were well valued by all participants (teachers, students and parents).
